Hello! Welcome to my blog! My name is Erin and I enjoy sharing all the things that I love doing right here. I started this blog four years ago to share my life and thoughts that I may have. I am a graduate student studying Speech-Language Pathology. My undergrad degrees were in Speech-Language Pathology and Spanish.
My family is really important to me and I love spending time with them. I have two younger brothers (Nick and Chris), and two wonderful parents. Living so far away from them while I'm at school is hard, but when I come home it's great!

I LOVE to travel! I have been very fortunate to be able to travel to several places around the world with my family. I believe my love of traveling came from my parents. I have been all the way up to Canada to all the way down to Dominican Republic, and of course lots of states in the United States. One of my favorite cities in America is NYC. I have also visited Europe and was very lucky to spend a month in Spain studying abroad.

I enjoy exercising, especially running. I didn't start to like running until my Mom introduced me to it and once I started I ran my first mini-marathon that year (2007). Running a marathon is on my bucket list, but I have a long way until I achieve that! On the other end, I enjoy cooking and baking too. I love trying out new recipes. I may not be the best at it, but I try and that's all that matters.

Another important aspect about my life is my faith. I am Catholic and try my best to serve God daily. I am also pro-life and believe that life needs to be protected from conception to natural death. I'm was an active member in Hilltoppers for Life, an organization on my undergrad campus.

Hi Erin, My name is Jessica and I found your blog while googling "SLP observations". I liked your insight on your 4 hour observation for your class. I already have a degree in a different field but I am interested in SLP. I called a facility in my town and am scheduled to observe for a few hours to see parts of what I'm hoping to get myself into. I realized my desire to engage with children on a more personal level when I started assisting as a sunday school teacher at my old church. Now I'm considering SLP as a career :). I just wanted to know how has your experience been in school and what your plans for the future are? How did you get into the field? Any tips? :) please email me at jjess3@ymail.com. Thank you I'd really appreciate it and good luck to you!
